New Cover Illustration!

I’ve been working on things. Really.
One of those things has been this nifty cover illustration.
It’s 11x17 and all inked and watercolored.
I love it… and all the lessons I learned along the way.

It’s the cover to the short comic story I made last year called For The Love of Books.

I was scanning it and laughed as I saw the backside. The back side of all my paintings - more often than not - have a first sketch that I started and that bombed horribly. So I flipped the paper over and things go better.

I hope you enjoy ‘ol Mr. Miguel here lounging in his favorite reading chair with the faithful Rocinante reading over his shoulder.

I’m working on another comic.
Doing some freelance things in the meantime.
